Prolight-IAPP midterm review (MTR) meeting was held on 16-17 October 2013 in Budapest.
During the meeting all recruited and seconded researchers gave individual presentations, every work package leader presented the work done in the corresponding work packages and the meeting ended with a demo session at Holografika premises illustrating in practice the contributions achieved during the first 22 months of the Prolight-IAPP project.
The 3DTV Conference 2014 was held on July 2-4 2014, at the very center of Europe – in hotel Intercontinental in the beautiful city of Budapest.
The conference was organized by the Department of Signal Processing, Tampere University of Technology, Finland, Tampere International Center for Signal Processing (TICSP), and Holografika, Hungary (both partners in the Prolight-IAPP project) and technically sponsored by the IEEE Hungary Section, the IEEE Hungary Circuits, Systems & Computers Joint Chapter, and the IEEE Finland Signal Processing & Ciruits and Systems Joint Chapter.
This is the eight edition of the conference. As with the previous editions of the 3DTV conference, the papers presented at the conference will be available through the IEEE Xplore digital library.
Along with the conference a Prolight-IAPP steering committee meeting as well as a research meeting were held.
A research meeting was held October 30, 2013 in Nantes France. The meeting was collocated with NEM Summit 2013 (1st Proligth-IAPP workshop).
Several people involved with the Prolight-IAPP project attended the Training School on Plenoptic Capture, Processing and Reconstruction (Plenoptics 2013) held between 16th and 20th June, 2013, in Sundsvall, Sweden. The lectures given at the school covered topics related to various stages of processing of 3D content. Furthermore, one set of lectures on 3D displays was given by Tibor Balogh, CEO of Holografika.
Along with the training school a Prolight-IAPP research meeting was held.
A steering committee meting has been held in Budapest (Holografika premises) on April 2, 2013.
PROLIGHT-IAPP kick-off meeting was held in Tampere, Finland on February, 19th, 2013.
